DTR Surveyors was established in 2014. It is a commercial property agency firm and is regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Our core activity is commercial property agency and site acquisitions, acting for a wide-range of clients in purchasing, selling, leasing and letting of commercial property.
DTR Surveyors are retained by a number of clients, locally and nationally, with regard to their acquisition requirements and assisting with disposals. DTR Surveyors specialises in acquisitions, with a specific focus on retail and investments. Please see the ‘Services’ section of our website for further information.

All work undertaken by DTR Surveyors is completed by Founder, David Thomas Rowlands AssocRICS – this enables us to offer our clients a high quality and personal service, on a consistent basis.
I have been working within the property industry for the past 15 years and I am an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). I successfully completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Real Estate Appraisal and Management at the University of Glamorgan. Following this, I went on to achieve a Postgraduate Diploma in Surveying via the College of Estate Management. I established DTR Surveyors in 2014, following a 3 month trip travelling across South East Asia.
